I call myself turtle, and encourage vs. demand others to call me turtle as well. The  analogy developed from the classic story of the tortoise and the hare. The "turtle" won the race, not the manic rabbit who was a speeding bullet, racing ahead only to be forced to take spontaneous naps. As we know the rabbit lost the race. Moral of the story is slow and steady wins the race. The race becomes for me: longevity, and takes on even more significance as I realized I WAS the rabbit. A hyper- compulsive bundle of energy and nerves who almost lost the race to heart disease. It's much less stressful practicing methods to slow down, calm down and relax. Be like the turtle, moving along the path, enjoying the weather, the sounds of nature and all the adventures yet to come. As we slowly move forward down the long and winding road of life.

The End.
